LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- A stunning and glowing Beyonce stepped out in NY on Wednesday to launch her new fragrance, Beyonce Pulse. Typically, the superstar artist is a very private person, but when Access Hollywood guest correspondent Jill Martin sat down with her, Beyonce opened up about her other big news (her pregnancy!) and how she came up with the idea to reveal her baby bump at the MTV Video Music Awards last month. You know, I dreamt it, actually, Beyonce told Jill of the inspiration behind her pregnancy announcement. There were so many rumors about me being pregnant every three months for the past couple of years I thought the best way and classiest way was to just show it. And my husband and I have been together for 10 years, so I guess people felt a part of it and it makes me feel really good, she added. Following Beyonces big reveal at the end of her VMAs performance, cameras cut to a shot of her husband, Jay-Z, in the audience along with Kanye West, as the two rappers jumped up and down and cheered in celebration. Although the proud, soon-to-be daddys enthusiasm was seen by millions, Beyonce said she missed the endearing moment. I couldnt see that in real life, but I did see it on a bunch of TV specials, the 30-year-old singer said. You couldnt escape it, so it was nice! As for motherhood, B said she feels shes been preparing for this moment for years. I just feel like everything Ive been through in my life is all for right now, she told Jill. So hopefully life will continue to get better, and Ill continue to get stronger and be an incredible mother. Beyonce was solo at the launch party for her third fragrance, but both she and Jay-Z were very involved in creating Pulse. Trio Adapting Taiwanese Supernatural Thriller 'Silk' for Gold Circle (Exclusive)

"Silk" Gold Circle Films has hired Marko King, Mary King and Jonathan Watters, the scribe trio who helped write the Halle Berry drama Frankie & Alice, to write the American remake of Taiwanese supernatural thriller Silk. The 2006 film was a yarn about scientists who capture the ghost of a child in an apartment and the detective charged with discovering clues to the ghost's identity and demise. Gold Circle is re-conceiving the film and is departing from the original's plot. Although it keeping the new story under wraps, the project is being described as "Michael Crichton meets The Sixth Sense." Gold Circle's Paul Brooks will produce along with Rob Cowan (The Crazies). Robin Jonas (Mr. Brooks) and Gold Circle's Scott Niemeyer will executive produce. Brad Kessell, who originally brought the project and brought in the writers, is shepherding. The company is in post on horror movie The Haunting in Georgia and is in pre-production on the music-based comedy Pitch Perfect, which will star Anna Kendrick. King, King and Watters (which sounds like a law firm) wrote the screenplay for Frankie & Alice along with Cheryl Edwards, Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse. TV Ratings: 'Vampire Diaries,' 'Secret Circle' Off to Good Starts

CW"The Vampire Diaries" Against repeats and and a reality series, the CW continued its fall premiere week with the return of The Vampire Diaries and companion The Secret Circle. The Vampire Diaries opened its third season, delivering 3 million total viewers at 8 p.m., an improvement from the last season's finale but down slightly from the Season 2 premiere. In the adults 18-49 demographic, Diaries drew a 1.4 rating, slipping from the 1.6 it posted last September. STORY: 'Vampire Diaries' Star Ian Somerhalder on Whether He'll Direct At 9 p.m., Kevin Williamson's other supernatural series The Secret Circle (3 million, 1.3) actually outdrew Diaries by a couple thousand viewers, according to preliminary numbers. Circle, starring Britt Robertson, retained all of its lead-in in total viewers and had a 93 percent retention among adults 18-49.
